Lewis Noble
has lived and worked as a full time artist in Ashbourne since 1994. Over this time he has come to be regarded as one of the country's leading artists and in 2000 he was presented with the Vickers Art Prize, a significant national award. His work draws on the diverse landscapes of the Peak district, Scotland, Wales and France to create landscapes that are almost abstract but filled with emotion light and colour. His work is to be found in some of the country's finest galleries. His work is in private collections in Britain, Australia and the USA.
