Colin’s work has a dream like quality, a moodiness that speaks of the very nature of nature. They communicate and express the brooding sensibilities that are brought on by experiencing the views at first-hand.
Born in Cumbria in 1964 Colin moved to London in his twenty’s. Now firmly established in the London art scene Colin and his family moved to Derbyshire in 2005 and as a result the landscape now dominates his work.
Collected by the likes of Helen Mirren, his work is also in Durham University and in 2006 he completed a commission for the Macmillan trust.
